This one didn’t quite work for me the way Carley Fortune’s other books have. I had a hard time connecting with the characters, and because of that, I found myself less invested in their story.
That said, I still enjoyed the beautiful writing and the emotional themes throughout the book. While it wasn’t my favorite from the author, I’m still excited to keep reading her books.
