Synopsis

After years of wondering where she came from, tattoo artist Cait Weatherby has finally found her answers on Silver Island: two half sisters she never knew existed, a circle of friends she adores, and a charming admirer who flirts with her at every turn. For the first time she has something like a family, and she is terrified of losing it. Haunted by a dark past she keeps carefully hidden, Cait cannot afford the kind of complication that Brant Remington represents. An easygoing, blue-eyed boatbuilder, Brant is as open and steady as Cait is guarded and wary, and his patient pursuit tempts her to imagine a future she has never let herself want. As their connection grows, Cait must decide whether letting Brant in is worth the risk of exposing the secrets that could unravel the fragile life she has built. Brant, for his part, is determined to prove he can be trusted with all of her, shadows included. Set on the sandy shores of Silver Island, this is an emotional, steamy romance about guarded hearts, second chances at family, and finding the courage to let love move you forward.
