Synopsis

Derek Chambers, Marquess of Whitlock, has long viewed his wife as the single most horrifying aspect of his life — a marriage gone cold and distant. When Katherine summons him to London, his ordered world is turned upside down. Katherine, for her part, believes she despises her husband but recognizes she needs him to stay for reasons of her own. As the two are drawn back into close proximity, Katherine begins questioning whether there might be more to Derek — and to their marriage — than she'd let herself believe. Book two of Rebecca Connolly's "Arrangements" series.
