Not the best book I've ever read. Decent writing, a little predictable. It was a little slow at first. The worldbuilding was decent. I'd like to see a little more for the non-main characters — they were a little flat. David, the male lead, was confusing and some of his actions didn't make sense. There were also a couple instances of slut-shaming, small and easily forgettable because they don't last long. There were some more juvenile elements, which didn't so well with me, but I think younger teens will like it!
