Geetanjali Shree (born 1957 in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, India) is a Hindi-language novelist and short-story writer based in New Delhi. She studied history at Lady Shri Ram College and earned a master's degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University; she began writing fiction during doctoral research on the Hindi novelist Munshi Premchand.
