Synopsis

Harriet Hatley is the most in-demand wedding photographer in town—which is ironic, because she doesn't believe in romance and dreads the idea of marriage. When she finally rejects her controlling boyfriend's proposal, she's suddenly single and homeless, and moves into a spare room with Cal Clarke, a kind stranger nursing the wreckage of his own called-off wedding. As two people with good reason to distrust love share a home, they slowly help each other confront the pasts—and the toxic relationships—that shaped them. A warm, sharp, emotionally honest romantic comedy from Mhairi McFarlane.
