Love in bloom

Love in bloom
Synopsis
Hope Walker survived breast cancer in her early thirties, but a mastectomy left her with scarring and serious fears about dating. She owns Changing Seasons, Heart Lake's most popular flower shop, where she works magic through her flower arranging for every couple in town except herself. When a handsome contractor starts coming into the shop, she assumes he would rather have a whole woman than someone like her.
Then Hope stakes a plot of ground at Heart Lake's community garden, and finds a woman can grow all sorts of things there: flowers, herbs, vegetables and friendship. Getting to know the two women who work the neighbouring plots, she learns that they have a great deal to teach one another, not only about gardening but about life, and that living fully sometimes means taking a chance on love.
The second Heart Lake novel by Sheila Roberts, published in 2009.
