Synopsis

On the distant planet Zarathustra, prospector Jack Holloway makes an extraordinary discovery: a small, golden-furred creature that appears to be more than just an animal. As he learns more about these "Fuzzies," their intelligence challenges the powerful Zarathustra Company's claim to the planet. Henry Beam Piper was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in 1904, and died, an apparent suicide, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, in 1964.
