Premise was cute. Some stuff was a bit surface - Polly has a relationship that is barely discussed and then suddenly something happens and she’s devastated and it makes no sense because the author was very unclear about the nature and specifics of the relationship.
Additionally, and this may be silly, it bothered me that one of the main characters was from Savannah, Georgia, but it was very obvious the author knew nothing about the city of Savannah. As someone who has been there more times than I can count, her descriptions of the city were so inaccurate it was bothersome. Savannah is treated like a sprawling metropolis, when in reality the city is very quaint, very historic, and has hardly any high-rises to speak of.
