Synopsis

Samara "Sam" Young is an indie game designer whose first release, Ruminate, gets buried under scathing reviews after popular Let's Player Marshall Law tears it apart on his channel. The bad press stalls her account and her hopes of going full-time as a designer — and then, the very next day, she finds out Marshall has moved into the apartment right next door.

Forced into unavoidable proximity, Sam and Marshall spend the volume sizing each other up, sniping, and slowly learning there's more to each other than the online persona. A romantic-comedy tone carries the early chapters, with the series' recurring cast of friends and family already starting to weave into the story.

First collected volume of Mongie's Eisner-nominated webcomic, originally serialized on Webtoon.
