Synopsis
Bailey King has entered the Amish Confectionery Competition in Harvest, Ohio, hoping the contest will bring attention to her grandmother's candy shop. The event draws rival candy makers, judges, and a good deal of local rivalry, and it does not stay friendly for long.
When a death at the competition puts someone close to Bailey under suspicion, she starts asking the questions the sheriff's department is not asking, working her way through contestants, grudges, and the boundaries between the Amish community and the English one.
The second Amish Candy Shop Mystery is a cozy small-town whodunit with licorice, competition nerves, and a sleuth who is still learning her way around her adopted village.
