Maybe, maaaaaybe I don't like Russian literature and I just specifically love Tolstoy. This read like a play more than a novella, it was lengthy (I never blame Tolstoy Habibi for the length), what redeemed this was the ending.

Update: I love Russian literature, I don't like this one specific piece of Russian literature.
