Legacy

London, 1851. Former thief Jovan Davenport is the black sheep in a family of powerful sorcerers. When his dying father, head of the League of Illusion, reaches out for help, Jovan has no choice but to accept: he must find his missing brother Sebastian and stop the power-hungry Hawthorne family from seizing control of the council.

His assigned partner is Skylar Vanguard — a druid and accomplished tracker who has spent years trying to forget her past, and Jovan in particular. She left him when she discovered his betrayal, and wants nothing to do with him or his family, but the council's will obliges her to accompany him and report on his progress.

Forced to work side by side, neither expects their passion to return so quickly. As the conspiracy deepens in a steam-powered world of dirigibles and mechanical golems, their secrets threaten both the mission and whatever is left between them.
