Synopsis
Une fois de plus, le jeune Zach, rencontré dans ##Série grise##, est pris dans une spirale d'événements qui le dépassent. Zach remet à l'écrivain Louis Ferdine un manuscrit relatant sa rencontre troublante, lors d'une promenade à vélo, avec un meurtrier repentant. Or à peu près au même instant, un meurtre véritable est commis. Ferdine croit voir dans le manuscrit de Zach un témoignage des événements réels; il charge donc le docteur Hunter de remettre le texte à l'inspecteur Allan. Aussitôt, le jeune est poursuivi à la fois par la police et par des criminels; son amie Bérénice lui vient en aide. Allan saura-t-il résoudre cet imbroglio? Comment Ferdine réagira-t-il en découvrant la vérité? -- Une trame bien construite dans laquelle se juxtaposent les témoignages et points de vue des protagonistes; le suspense est maintenu jusqu'à la fin.
