Benjamin Hoff (born November 11, 1946, in Portland, Oregon) is an American author best known for The Tao of Pooh (1982) and its sequel The Te of Piglet (1992), which use A. A. Milne's Winnie-the-Pooh characters to explain principles of Taoism. He holds a B.A. in Asian art and culture from The Evergreen State College (1973) and has worked as a tree pruner, antiques restorer, photojournalist, and musician.
