Synopsis

Le chuchoteur (The Whisperer) is the French edition of Donato Carrisi's international bestselling debut thriller, the first novel to feature investigator Mila Vasquez.

In a forest clearing, searchers make a horrifying discovery: six severed left arms buried in a circle. Six young girls have vanished, but only five are missing — which means one victim is still unidentified, and perhaps still alive. A special team is assembled, including the brilliant criminologist Goran Gavila and Mila Vasquez, a haunted specialist in finding missing children. As they race to trace the killer, they confront a manipulator who works through suggestion and whispers, planting darkness in others and always staying one step ahead.

Twisting, atmospheric, and relentlessly dark, the novel is built on a series of escalating reveals that call every certainty into question. A gripping serial-killer thriller for readers who like their suspense intricate and unsettling.
