Synopsis

In a dystopian near-future where government has collapsed and a handful of ruling Families control the world's dwindling resources, Forever Carlyle is the Lazarus of House Carlyle — an augmented protector, engineered to heal from nearly any wound and sworn to defend her family's holdings from rival Families and the desperate "Waste" who live outside their walls.

Collecting the first four issues of Greg Rucka and Michael Lark's series plus the "Family: Prelude" short, this opening volume follows Forever as a routine defense of the family estate spirals into a web of internal betrayal, as secrets within the Carlyle family itself threaten to unravel everything she has been raised to protect.

Grounded in political intrigue, class division and the cost of loyalty bought with engineered obedience, the story pairs hard-edged violence with a slower, more psychological question: how far a child will go for a family that calls its commands love.
