Last of the Talons

After the destruction of her entire Talon gang, eighteen-year-old Shin Lina, once known as the Reaper of Sunpo, is forced to become a living weapon for the kingdom's most feared crime lord. Only her little sister's life, held hostage, keeps her from turning on her ruthless master. An order to steal a priceless tapestry from a Dokkaebi temple draws the wrath of a legendary immortal and drags Lina into the dreamlike, dangerous realm of the Dokkaebi. Captured by its cruel and captivating emperor, Lina is offered one way out: kill the Pied Piper within fourteen days, or forfeit her life. Sophie Kim opens the Talons series with a dark, Korean-mythology-inspired fantasy romance built on enemies-to-lovers tension.
