Synopsis

Lady of the Lake is the third book in Alex Rivers and C. N. Crawford's Fey Spy Academy series, an Arthurian-inspired romantasy. The series follows Nia, an ordinary bookseller whose life is upended when she's revealed to have magic that could tip the balance of a hidden war. Abducted into Avalon Tower, an elite academy for fey spies, she trains under the brooding, secretive demi-fey Raphael.

In this installment, Nia is thrust into a perilous royal court, where survival depends on mastering her growing powers and staying a step ahead of enemies who deal in lies and betrayal. As she steps into the role of Lady of the Lake, the stakes shift from personal survival to the outcome of the wider war, and her relationship with Raphael grows more fraught the more powerful she becomes.

The series leans into political intrigue, enemies-to-lovers tension, and forced proximity, wrapped in lush, high-stakes world-building drawn from Arthurian legend.
