Synopsis

Priscilla Denver expects to settle comfortably into her new home, only to discover her aunt was less than honest about the property's condition. A rattling hearth and the suspiciously persistent Duke of Clavering, who is determined to buy the house, quickly raise Priscilla's suspicions. Something is definitely amiss, and Priscilla is just the woman to uncover the truth behind the unsettling occurrences and the Duke's motives.
