La trenza

Three women, living on different continents, are bound by a shared desire for freedom and a fierce spirit. In India, Smita, an untouchable, dreams of a better life for her daughter. In Sicily, Giulia works in her family's wig workshop, facing its imminent collapse. In Canada, Sarah, a successful lawyer, discovers she has a serious illness. Their stories, seemingly disparate, intertwine in a powerful tale of resilience and connection.
