Synopsis

La gran tienda de los sueños 2: El caso de los soñadores perdidos is the Spanish-language edition of Miye Lee's The DallerGut Dream-Making District, the sequel to the international bestseller about a department store that sells dreams to sleeping customers.

A year after she first stepped through its doors, Penny is now an official employee of the dream industry and can finally take the express commuter train to the Company District, where all the dream-production companies are based. But the district hides the less glamorous machinery behind the magic — including the Civil Complaint Center, where people file grievances about the dreams they've been given. As Penny takes on the wider work of the industry, from soothing dissatisfied regulars to understanding the complexity of human longing, the novel peels back the curtain on how dreams are really made. Warm, whimsical, and gently philosophical.
