Synopsis

Les relations mères-filles sont rarement de longs fleuves tranquilles. Mais pour certaines c'est encore pire. Prenez Cannie Shapiro : si on lui avait dit il y a treize ans que sa ravissante petite Joy, ce magnifique bébé qu'elle a eu toute seule et qui a fait sa fierté, deviendrait un jour une ado aussi exécrable, elle y aurait réfléchi à deux fois. La crise atteint son paroxysme lors du choix crucial de la robe de bat-mitsvah de Joy.
