LOL. This book pissed me off.
The writing could have been so much better. Tem was a confusing and silly character. She knows what she wants, but at the same time, she doesn't.
The author prioritized spice quantity over quality. While very frequent (in almost every chapter multiple times), it became completely redundant and lacked any real oomph. Sigh... there was so much potential there. At some point I went online to see what people thought about this book and it’s very clear that book two is even more ridiculous, so I don't think I'll be continuing- or maybe skipping to book three if it’s any good.
I rated the spice 5 just because of how much there is but it’s very meh.
