This book was overall a decent read and I am looking forward to continuing the series and seeing where Kerri Maniscalco takes the rest of the story. This was the first of her books I've read and it didn't fail to meet expectations.

I enjoyed the characters and the almost historical setting the book was narrated in. I liked the mystery aspect crossed with the romantic twists and paranormal and supernatural emphasis. It definitely was a interesting book to read.

I am looking forward to hopefully learning more about Emilia and also her future with Wrath.

Loved the idea, but the execution was really bad imo
The main character so annoyingly naive and stupid I couldn’t even bring myself to finish the book.
