Kingdom of Ash is a spectacular conclusion to a series that’s easily become one of my all-time favorite fantasy epics. Having followed the Throne of Glass journey from the beginning, I loved seeing how Sarah J. Maas tied up the story. Every character, from Aelin to Lysandra, and especially Manon, had their moments to shine, with truly satisfying conclusions to their arcs. These characters are not just memorable—they’re all-time greats, and I’ll definitely miss spending time with them.
Despite what some may believe, this series is far more than just faerie smut. It’s filled with heart, action, and a deep exploration of friendship, sacrifice, and resilience. The way Maas balances epic battles and personal stakes makes it stand out, earning it a spot in my top ten favorite fantasy series. It’s bittersweet to leave this world behind, but the ending was everything I could have hoped for.
