Synopsis

King of Duels is the sixteenth volume of The Wandering Inn, pirateaba's long-running web-serial fantasy following Erin Solstice and the many people whose lives intersect at her inn in the world of Innworld. This installment carries the series' familiar mix of slice-of-life warmth against a backdrop of escalating conflict, as Flos Reimarch, the King of Destruction, presses his invasion of Belchan toward a duel that threatens to draw his kingdom of Reim into open war with Jecrass. Elsewhere, couriers challenge the Assassin's Guild, and the Stitch Witch moves through the margins of the story with her own designs.

Published July 29, 2025, this volume also marks a transition in the audiobook production: it is the first in the series narrated by Erin Bennett, who takes over from longtime narrator Andrea Parsneau.
