Killer Wedding

Killer Wedding
Synopsis
A Killer Wedding follows Christine Russo, senior editor at a bridal magazine, who arrives in Ireland expecting to cover the glamorous wedding of Graham Ripton — heir to a billion-dollar family business — and Jane Murphy, an outwardly unremarkable schoolteacher with a past of her own.
The celebration turns dark on the first night, when Gloria, the Ripton family matriarch, is found shot dead. Rather than call off the wedding or notify the two hundred and fifty guests and the authorities, the Riptons make the decision to conceal her death until the ceremony is over and the newlyweds have left for their honeymoon — protecting the family brand at any cost.
Told through multiple points of view and interspersed flashbacks, the novel follows Christine as she quietly investigates who among Graham's siblings, or Jane herself, had reason to want Gloria dead. Old grudges and family secrets surface as the wedding weekend unravels, building to a revelation involving Gloria herself. It is Joan O'Leary's debut novel.
