Synopsis
In this second of two volumes, a young Kikoru Shinomiya finishes her battle with a killer crustacean-type kaiju in a training exercise full of surprises — her Number Weapon isn't suited to the opponent, so she has to find something rougher, and Narumi is impressed enough to agree to train with her, on one condition: she has to beat every squad leader first. Then the action turns to Narumi's own past. He's got all the potential in the world but an attitude destined to squander it — can Vice-Captain Itami straighten him out?
