Just Married

Grace and Ryan have been married six months and never got round to a honeymoon, so when Ryan finds a cabin to rent, somewhere private and a long way from anything, it seems like the fix.

Grace wanted to take the note to the police. It had been left on their doormat and it said: she's dead, you're next. Ryan did not want to involve anyone, and Grace went along with that, because she has spent years keeping quiet about something Ryan did and has never been able to put down.

Then the phone lines at the cabin are cut. Ryan says he does not know what is happening and that he is trying to keep them both safe, which may be true. Kiersten Modglin holds Grace out there in the dark with a man whose one confirmed secret she is already carrying, and the question of whether there is a second one.
