Juliet Takes a Break

Juliet Milagros Palante, a self-proclaimed 'baby dyke' from the Bronx, heads to Portland, Oregon, for an internship with her feminist idol. Instead of finding answers, she discovers a world of queer brown feminists, zines, and a journey of self-discovery. This summer away from home challenges her perceptions of love, identity, and activism.
