Synopsis

This collection features three distinct novellas from Italy's premier crime authors. One story introduces Judge Surra, a charming newcomer to a Sicilian town who seeks justice and pastries amidst quirky locals. Another follows young Judge Valentina Lorenzi as an assassination attempt plunges her black-and-white world into shades of grey. The final tale presents a Kafkaesque feud between Prosecutor Mandati and a corrupt mayor, where bizarre events make Mandati's dreams of justice seem to come true.
