Dari awal Wahid sudah dapat simpati daripada aku. Perkembangan karakter Wahid dan Kamelia, juga Halim sangat bagus. Aku suka gaya cerita penulis dan cara dia letak emosi pada karakter dan juga penceritaan beliau. Ia satu kisah penyiasatan tapi berlatar keluarga dan dendam, mungkin juga kerana obsesi (ini yang aku nampak tentang Wahid pada awalnya). Tapi kesimpulan daripada Kamelia pada akhirnya buat aku faham apa yang sebenarnya dicari Wahid. Setiap kisah yang keluar daripada Wahid berhasil bagi aku bermacam perasaan-- sedih, marah, kasihan, kecewa (dan kepuasan walaupun aku rasa macam kejam pulak bila puas dengan tindakan yang diambil Wahid). Sisipan kisah lain dalam misi jejak Wahid itu aku andaikan perencah yang diisi secukupnya pada naratif terutama hal berkaitan Zu yang diisi sekadarnya dan tidak terlebih sehingga lewah. Karakter-karakter sampingan yang mengisi slot seadanya juga banyak membantu-- kesemuanya nampak ada keperluan pada jalan cerita. \n\nAku baca in one sitting sebab kagum dengan cara penceritaan dan idea, rasa tak sabar nak cepat habis baca.
