Synopsis

In a Parisian gambling house, the Duc de Saligny is found decapitated, his head eerily upright in the card room. Despite the room being guarded, the killer vanished without a trace. Flamboyant prefect Henri Bencolin takes on the baffling case, determined to outwit a murderer who seems to defy logic and deal another hand of death.
