I didn't realize this was a middle grade book when I added it to my wish list. I needed a book to read and this one popped up so I checked it out. It was actually a pretty pleasant read! I liked it. I thought the relationship between Hazel, her brother, and her friend was great. I also like how the parents were depicted as real parents. I'd recommend it to middle schoolers who are into the recommend genre.
