Synopsis

In an England sustained by story, Simran the witch and Vina the knight are reincarnated incarnates of a tale that has ended the same way for centuries: they fall in love, and they destroy each other. Bound to relive their doom across hundreds of lifetimes, the two women begin to fall for each other again in the present — and must decide whether to surrender to the story fate keeps telling about them.

When a mysterious assassin starts hunting down other incarnates and unraveling the ancient tales that keep the Isle whole, Simran and Vina's private struggle becomes a race to survive. To break their cycle, they will have to write something fate never accounted for: a story stronger than The Knight and the Witch.

A sapphic romantasy from World Fantasy Award winner Tasha Suri, blending slow-burn, star-crossed romance with folklore, myth and a mystery that threatens to erase them both.
