Synopsis

Dustfinger's quest to return to Inkworld takes a dangerous turn when he learns Basta and Mortola are working against him. To warn him, Meggie and Farid must journey into Inkheart itself, only to find Mortimer and Resa held captive. As Capricorn's death is revealed, Mo is shot and captured, leaving Meggie, Dustfinger, Farid, and Fenoglio to race against time to save their loved ones from execution.
