Synopsis

Emmie Elliot returns to her small California hometown of Metlin intending to sell the bookstore her grandmother left her. Instead she decides to reopen it, and takes on an unlikely partner: Miles "Ox" Oxford, a tattoo artist who needs workspace of his own.

Books on one side, ink on the other. The arrangement works, so long as the two of them keep it strictly professional, which is harder than either of them expected. This is a slow-burn, low-angst romance that grows out of a genuine friendship, with the shop and the town's community at its centre.

Ink is the first book in Elizabeth Hunter's 7th and Main series.
