Synopsis

After being forcibly taken from his family and placed in a brutal residential school, Saul Indian Horse finds an unlikely escape through his natural talent for hockey. He rises through the ranks of the sport, but the higher he climbs, the more he must confront the systemic racism and deep-seated pain of his past. This is a stark look at one man's attempt to survive a world designed to break him.
