I KNEW HOW THIS WOULD END FROM THE VERY FIRST PAGE YET I WAS STILL HOPING SHE WOULD GET A HAPPY ENDING. WHY DID I TORTURE MYSELF BELIEVING SHE WOULD END UP CHOOSING WISELY, WHY!?
But still, I loved the book. In the first one of this series Lundy wasn't much of a trustworthy character, mostly because in that book the main character was Nancy and Lundy was suspicious of her, which made me be angry at Lundy. But in this one, wow. We get to know the reason why she ages backwards, we get to know what was behind her door. After reading it, I wondered what happened to Moon and the Archivist after Lundy's banishment. I wish that, some day, the author would write a story about what happened to them and how they approached the new Lundy that came through their door, Lundy's nephew. Would they ask questions about her? Would they give shelter to the boy, in honour of their dear banished friend? Or would they simply want nothing to do with him? I wonder if they would even miss Lundy, or if they resented her for not following the rules. I have so many questions about what happened at that side of the door after Lundy was forced to leave...
I loved it, really. I can't wait to read the next one.
