It saddens me when a lot of people like a book, and then I read it and I'm utterly disappointed. Some reviews compared it to hereditary (it has absolutely nothing to do with it! Don't be fooled people) I read reviews about a huge m•••••••, but I've read much MUCH better ones, it gives a feeling of ''is this it? I read 200 pages for this?". Speaking of those pages, they were full of unecessary blabbering, lengthy useless conversations, and as I was reading I felt that something was missing, the writer didn't build up for the big reveal, it was flat, a nothingness that lead to more nothingness. I wasted 4 days reading this.
