Synopsis

In 1983, two employees die under suspicious circumstances at a tuberculosis sanatorium near Akureyri. Decades later, in 2012, a young criminologist researching the cold case uncovers unsettling truths about the horrific events. As he delves into the past, he must also confront difficult secrets in his own life, secrets that threaten to unravel his present.

Ragnar was born in Reykjavik, Iceland, where he works as a writer and a lawyer. He also teaches copyright law at Reykjavik University and has previously worked on radio and television, including as a TV-news reporter for the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service.
