How to Make a Horror Movie and Survive

In the 1980s, horror director Max Maurey is tired of churning out cheap, blood-soaked slashers and wants to make a movie with real terror. When he discovers an old, wailing camera that once captured a real-life Hollywood tragedy, he decides to use it to film his masterpiece. Meanwhile, aspiring actress Sally Priest is desperate to prove herself as a true scream queen and land the lead role. But as the camera's demonic nature begins to surface, Max's obsession drives the production forward, forcing Sally to fight for her life as a real-life Final Girl.
