<spoiler> Well. This is an informative book , if you are interested in knowing what is climate change , what causes it and what can be done about it. If you’re already somewhat aware of climate change ( as I was ) , this book adds some values in terms of facts , figures and some possible solutions , but not much.
The format of each chapter is somewhat predictable , repetitive and well , if you are up to date with climate change , then probably not that eye- opening. The facts and figures presented definitely helps.
The good thing is , Bill Gates does not bark at you to take shorter showers and use electric cars . He wants to but knows it isn’t possible and shouldn’t be enforced. In turn , he urges you to work with local authorities towards making policies which will help climate change .
This book does bring about some awareness on what is being done in terms of technology to combat climate change , examples are given of certain companies ( obviously backed by him and plug in of his investments ) which are actively working on it. <spoiler>
