This book broke me toward the end.
As a survivor of childhood SA myself, I spent the majority of the ending crying. It definitely made me relive my past, and it sucked, but I like that CoHo writes about these things. It makes me feel less alone in the f’ed up childhood I had. Makes me have hope that healing is possible even though at 28 I still sometimes have doubts.
Despite MY trauma, this was an easy and amazing read.
