Synopsis

Imagine a world where Neanderthals, not humans, became the dominant intelligence, developing a sophisticated civilization. When a Neanderthal physicist accidentally crosses into our universe, he finds himself a bewildered stranger, quarantined and studied. As he navigates this alien world, his partner back home faces a murder trial, desperately trying to understand what happened to him.
