Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to read the previous books in the Fever series before starting this one?

This book serves as the tenth installment in the Fever series and follows a complex, long-running narrative arc, so it is not intended to be read as a standalone. New readers should begin with the first book, Darkfever, to understand the established world and character histories.

  • How does this book relate to the earlier novels featuring MacKayla Lane?

While the first nine books primarily focus on MacKayla Lane, this title shifts the narrative perspective to Dani O'Malley and Ryodan. It continues the overarching story of the Fever world rather than functioning as a separate spin-off.
