Hidden Wings

Seventeen-year-old Emma Wise is the sole survivor of a car crash that kills both her parents. Sent to live with an aunt she has never met in a remote town in Alaska, Emma tries to rebuild her life -- until she starts uncovering secrets about who, and what, she really is. She is a nephilim, part angel and part human, and she stands at the center of a centuries-old prophecy that has drawn the attention of dangerous creatures known as Darklings.

With her aunt and six enigmatic Guardians standing between her and the forces hunting her, Emma must survive until her eighteenth birthday, when the truth of her heritage will fully awaken. The first book in Cameo Renae's Hidden Wings series, this YA paranormal romance blends angel mythology, a slow-building prophecy, and a found-family cast of protectors around one ordinary girl thrust into an extraordinary destiny.
