Hidden Scars

Charles Preston Carmichael is the infuriating golden boy of college hockey — and he never misses a chance to point out everything his roommate is messing up, publicly. Since Preston is stuck as a roommate for the next year, there's no avoiding him.

But when Preston returns from a weekend away broken and haunted, distance is no longer an option. What starts as an enemies-to-roommates rivalry turns into something neither man expected, as Preston's nightmares — the product of physical abuse that took place outside their relationship — pull them closer together, hockey and jealous exes be damned.

Hidden Scars is the first book in the Darby U Hockey Boys series, an M/M enemies-to-lovers college hockey romance that takes trauma and its long shadow seriously alongside the heat.
