Synopsis

Just days after Raynor Winn learns that her husband Moth is terminally ill, the couple lose their home and livelihood in a disastrous investment. With nothing left and nowhere to go, they make an impulsive, brave decision: to walk the 630 miles of the wind-scoured South West Coast Path, from Somerset to Dorset by way of Devon and Cornwall. Wild camping and carrying only what fits on their backs, they find the path strips life back to its essentials. A luminous, unflinching memoir of homelessness, marriage, and the restorative power of the natural world.
